Einfach machen #3: Ein performativer Hör-Spaziergang mit Ilka Theurich

Im September ist Ilka Theurich in Lunden und nimmt uns mit auf einen performativen Hör-Spaziergang ins kleine Wäldchen. Wir beginnen in der Strasse ‚Am Gehölz‘ und sprechen über die alten Linden, die für den Neubau der Sporthalle gefällt wurden, gehen dann weiter bis zum schmalen Fussweg, der ins eigentliche Gehölz führt. Wir gehen still, hörend, schauend, raschelnd – der Boden ist feucht, weich, federnd. Zwischendurch sammeln wir uns zu Gesprächen, Austausch – es geht um unsere Umgebung, den Unterschied zwischen bildender und performativer Kunst, die Geräusche in der Umgebung, Klimawandel und die Lebenserwartung von Bäumen, unterirdische Kommunikation von Wurzeln und Pilzen und der Freude an der Natur. Es wird sogar gesungen: Am Brunnen vor dem Tore da steht ein Lindenbaum…. Anschliessend gibt es Kaffee, Kuchen, Quiche und die Gespräche gehen im Pesel weiter. Dort hat Ilka Theurich für uns ihre Objekte aus Holz und Klavierteilen mitgebracht, die einen inspirierenden Rahmen um die Kaffeetafel bilden.
In September, Ilka Theurich is in Lunden and takes us on a performative listening walk into the small forest. We start on the street ‚Am Gehölz‘ and talk about the old lime trees that were felled to build the new sports hall, then continue to the narrow footpath that leads into the actual wood. We walk silently, listening, looking, rustling – the ground is damp, soft, springy. In between we gather for conversations and exchanges – it’s about our surroundings, the difference between fine and performative art, the noises and sounds in the environment, climate change and the life expectancy of trees, underground communication of roots and fungi and the joy of nature. There is even singing: ‚Am Brunnen vor dem Tore….‘ (Meaning: There is a linden tree at the fountain in front of the gate…) Afterwards there is coffee, cake, quiche and the conversations continue in the Pesel. Ilka Theurich brought her objects made of wood and piano parts for us, which form an inspiring visual frame around the coffee table.
