Im Laufe der Jahre haben inzwischen zahlreiche Künstlerinnen Lunden besucht, hier ihre Arbeit weiter entwickelt und neue Impulse bekommen: Sabine Popp, Terese Longva, Miriam Hamel, Gintare Matulaitytė, Grit Ruhland, Elke Mark, angehende Kulturvermittlerinnen für die kulturelle Bildung in Schleswig-Holstein, u.a.m.

Terese Longva nutzte beispielsweise 2023 die Zeit in Lunden, um an ihrer geplanten Publikation zu arbeiten. Sie ist Künstlerin und initiiert auf der Insel Skuløya in Norwegen ein Gastatelier – Longva Air. In Lunden sprechen wir über Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen von Kunstproduktion ausserhalb urbaner Zentren. Es tun sich etliche Parallelen auf. Ausserdem unternehmen wir Touren in die nähere Umgebung, besuchen das Heimatmuseum in Lunden und das Museum Kunst der Westküste auf Föhr.

Over the years, numerous artists have visited Lunden, developed their work further and gained new inspiration: Sabine Popp, Terese Longva, Miriam Hamel, Gintare Matulaitytė, Grit Ruhland, Elke Mark, prospective cultural mediators for cultural education in Schleswig-Holstein, and many more.

Terese Longva for example used the time in Lunden to work on her planned publication. She is an artist and establishes an artist residency – Longva Air – on the island of Skuløya in Norway. In Lunden we talk about the possibilities and challenges of art production outside of urban centers. A number of parallels emerge. We also go on tours in the surrounding area, visit the local history museum and the Museum Kunst der Westküste (West Coast Art Museum) on the island Föhr. And we swim in the river Eider! Bliss.
